PROJECT PRODUCER

ELEVATE | Stretford Public Hall | 2021 | Instigator, Project Producer 

Artist residency & community engagement project that celebrating the creativity of underrepresented people through workshops, arts opportunities, and an exhibition. (Funded by Arts Council).

Culture Champions (GMCA) | Stretford Public Hall | 2019 - 2021 | Project Producer 

A programme working with people over 50 in North Trafford to co-design, plan, and deliver their own community based projects. The project commissioned and supported 10 new projects.

A youth enterprise project working with young people from marginalised areas to create events and projects for positive local impact. I have produced three projects. 

Refract Festival: Make your Mark | Waterside Arts Centre | 2019 | Co-producer, Workshop facilitator, Curator

Community based exhibition working with local underrepresented groups to take part in creative workshops to make and exhibit their work. 

First Time: In Equal Parts | Dibby Theatre, Waterside Arts Centre | 2018 | Co-producer, Associate Artist, Curator

An outreach project and exhibition raising awareness of HIV. Working with people living with HIV to create artworks reflecting on their journeys; and educational sessions with a school group.

Research and creative project exploring the importance of creativity in education; culminating in a two-day arts festival in Gorton, West Manchester. (Funded by Futures’ Venture and Arts Council England)

Visual art project tackling social isolation for people living with mental health illness. (Funded by Arts Council).

Online residency working with migrant communities to create a collection of new poems that reflected their sense of place and identity. The poems were clean graffitied in to the streets.

Working with radiotherapy patients exploring their personal experiences of treatment though visual art and creative story telling.
