Makers Dozen: In Source
MADE NORTH, 2016
The In-source exhibition encouraged the Makers Dozen collective to look closer at the qualities of each others’ work and consider these qualities for use within their own practice. And offered the chance for other makers and members of the general public to come and engage in making activity in a series of workshops
I convinced myself, 2016 (acrylic, vinyl, posca pen)
The series was a reflection on my own mental health during a time when I convinced myself that I had bipolar after the results of an online test. This work was a collaboration between myself and the other collective members which involved asking each person to respond to the questions of the bipolar test by cutting out shapes from adhesive vinyl. The shapes were then curated onto clear perspex in a randomised and chaotic way that reflected my mental state at the time.
